Cooking is a critical activity for seniors. Being able to command ingredients from your kitchen so you can meet your dietary needs is increasingly important as you get older. But, as a senior, you have also established a menu of dishes that you enjoy most. With our 8-week program, we customize a series of menus that include healthy upgrades to popular dishes as well as introduce innovative methods of cooking familiar ingredients to optimize health benefits.

We’ll explore typical cooking methods such as stewing, braising, grilling and sauteing with a focus on highlighting the best practices for converting these methods into healthy cooking techniques. Our menus will emphasize ingredients featuring locally grown items and seasonal produce.
